Bonobo science tells us that aggression, conflict, and female submission to Alpha males corresponds to resource scarcity (particularly in desert regions). 
Conversely, resource abundance corresponds to sharing, inter-group collaboration, more sexual freedom, and socially dominant alpha females. Free from conflict, the group exists in harmony with its surroundings.
